The news from Microsoft is that we can expect a beta release of Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) sometime in June.
With IE8, there is supposedly some major improvements in security and compliance with web standards. So developers can expect better support for CSS and Ajax programming.
The development of IE8 has already passed the Acid2 Fast test in December. This test is used to see how well a browser conforms to web standards.
We have heard that IE8 might be demoed by Microsoft at the Mix conference which starts March 5. We will keep you updated.
In the meantime, you can fix errors in previous versions of Internet Explorer with our free scan.
